Albena
A holiday oasis with vast sandy beaches, a clean sea and informal atmosphere, appealing to young people. Albena is easily accessible and is less than an hour from Varna airport. Sport and recreation facilities are abundant in this resort and you will find a high standard of accommodation.
Golden Sands
Golden Sands is probably one of the best known resorts in Bulgaria. It is situated only 17 kilometres from Varna. It is a magnificent resort with fantastic forests to stroll in, white sandy beaches and turquoise blue sea. There are also many famous and ancient mineral water springs. The resort is situated in the Bulgarian National Park, making it one of most picturesque areas in the country.
St. Constantine
The oldest resort in Bulgaria, St Constantine is a quiet and peaceful location, located amidst an age-old park, with secluded beaches, favoured by more mature tourists. The resort has small sandy beaches and the atmosphere of this charming resort is deal for a really restful holiday.
Sunny Beach
Sunny Beach is the largest holiday complex on the Black Sea Coast. It has a beach area that stretches for 6 kilometres. From May through to September the average daily temperature is 27C making Sunny Beach the perfect tourist destination. The area offers plenty of activities as well as a whole spectrum of services.
Sozopol
The oldest Black Sea town is situated 34 km south of Bourgas. Sozopol is attractive to tourists with its rich history, crystal blue seas and relaxing ambiance. While the area is bustling during the summer months in the off peak season it reverts back to a sleepy fishing village.
Nessebar
Founded in the 6th Century BC Nessebar is one of Bulgaria most famous attractions. The tiny town attracts nearly a million yearly visitors. The quaint little town is a maze of delightful 19th century wooden houses, meandering cobbled streets and tiny courtyards filled with vines and fig trees.
Varna
The gem of the Bulgarian Black Sea is situated at the end of the big Varna Bay. Ancient, medieval, renaissance and modern cultures mingle and coexist throughout the city. Varna is an all year round holiday destination. Beyond the high season, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. During the holiday season, July and August, the sunshine allows 10-11 hours of sunbathing. The sea is amazingly calm and free of dangerous tides.
Plovdiv
Plovdiv is the second of the biggest towns in Bulgaria, following Sofia. Here, one can find remnants of Thracian, Greek and Romanian civilizations. And evidence of these ages is the marble amphitheatre. The amphitheatre is a spectacular host to classical and modern events and concerts, arts festivals and the famous 'Verdi Evenings', guaranteeing a never-to-be-forgotten evening.
Bansko
The town of Bansko is located 925m above sea level, with skiing at 2000-2500m above sea level. It is situated in south western Bulgaria at the foothills of one of the most beautiful Bulgarian mountains, Pirin. Bansko is the newest Bulgarian ski resort, being recently discovered by foreign skiers and tourists.
