The Canary Islands are an autonomous region of Spain scattered in the

Visitors can party the night away and then spend the day resting on the beautiful beaches. However, they also offer lush forests, exotic fauna and flora, sahara-like dunes, mountains, volcanic craters, sometimes snow on the highest peaks as well as incredibly beautiful coastlines and spectacular beaches.
The smaller islands of Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro are more off the beaten track and where tourism takes a backseat to vineyards, fruit plantations and goats! For many it is the peace and quiet of these less-developed islands which provide their appeal, with much to offer nature lovers.
