Alsancak
This village has something to offer everyone with its spectacular views, authentic village atmosphere and easy access to beaches and restaurants. There are a couple of well-stocked mini markets for all your supplies. It is approximately 6 miles west of Kyrenia with its pretty harbour and shops.
Baspinar
Set high above the village of Lapta is Baspinar, well know for its mountain springs, breathtaking views, sleepy atmosphere and cooling breeze. The ideal place to spend lazy days enjoying the views or a variety of excellent walks in the Bespinar.
Bellapais
Bellapais is an ancient village of tradition, located on an elevated position above Kyrenia. Its narrow streets and local shops create the feeling that you are still in old Cyprus and you will spend hours meandering through the streets admiring the fabulous views down to the coastline. The area is dominated by an old Augustinian monastery, which has fantastic views of the villages below.
Catalkoy
Another popular village with its well maintained whitewashed streets located 5 miles from Kyrenia. There is a wonderful beach nearby and many amenities.
Lapta
Situated west of Kyrenia, Lapta has an abundance of historical sites and beautifully restored buildings. Its natural beauty makes it one of the most pleasant places on the island to visit. Lapta is renowned for its fresh water springs and healthy atmosphere.
Ilgaz
A quiet mountainside village with superb scenery and a mixture of Europeans, Turkish and Cypriots. The ideal retreat for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern day life.
Karsiyaka
Located west of Kyrenia and approx 20 minutes by car the area affords stunning views of the highest mountain in the Besparmak mountain range. Five minutes from Karsiyaka lies a large sandy bay and there are many more sandy beaches between Karsiyaka and Kyrenia.
Kyrenia
The most beautiful holiday paradise on the island is situated on the northern coast of Cyprus. Its horseshoe shaped harbour with backdrop of the Besparnak Mountains make Kyrenia one of the most beautiful places on the island.
