Alhaurin el Grande
Located just 20 minutes from Malaga airport and the beach, Alhaurin is a beautiful and tranquil location with easy access to cosmopolitan Marbella. There are two 18 hole golf courses, riding schools, mountain biking and fishing, just some of the local activities available. Alhaurin boasts some excellent restaurants serving wonderful fresh local produce, not to be missed.
Coín
This small white-washed town is situated 21 kilometres inland from Marbella and 30 minutes from Malaga airport. Cork and pine trees dot the landscape which offers a picturesque variety of vegetation, including orange and lemon trees and many olive groves.
Malaga
The capital city of the Costa del Sol is full of history and culture, with the ancient Moorish castle, the bullring and a lively mix of designer stores, ruins and old buildings. The birthplace of Pablo Picasso, the city recently inaugurated a museum dedicated to his art. The international airport provides the gateway to all the other Andalucian towns and welcomes up to 10 million visitors a year.
Nerja
The town is centred around the Balcon de Europa (Balcony of Europe), which offers fabulous views of the coastline and small sandy coves with colourful fishing boats. The stunning mountain ranges close behind offer a wonderful setting for the town. The main attractions are the breathtaking caves and a number of concerts are held in this stunning location throughout the year.
Ronda
Nestled on a towering plateau in the mountains of Malaga Province, 60km from Marbella , lies Ronda, which is steeped in history and dates back several millennia. It has inspired writers and artists with its history, architecture and beauty. A stone bridge spans the famous plunging river gorge from which you have fantastic views over the stunning countryside. The bullring is one of the oldest in Spain.
