Sotogrande
A luxury resort, 20 minutes from Gibraltar and 30 minutes from Marbella. Sotogrande features fantastic sporting facilites, with four first class golf courses, including Valderrama which held the Ryder Cup in 1998. It is also one of the top venues in the world for international polo. Other activities include horse riding, tennis, water sports and sailing.
Casares
An up and coming coastal resort offering a relaxed lifestyle, with amenities including golf courses and a beautiful tranquil marina. The little harbour offers restaurants, cafes and bars in which you can relax and watch the world go by. Drive 15 minutes inland and you will arrive at Casares, a historic white-washed Spanish village set on the side of a mountain.
Estepona
A historic Spanish fishing village, with a fascinating old town and marina. A beautiful long stretch of beach is lined with chiringuitos where you can sample the local fresh fish. Further along the coast is the Selwo Safari Park with more than 2,000 animals living in semi-wild conditions.
San Pedro
A typically Spanish town with a traditional street market every Thursday and a beautiful promenade running along the beach. Here you see people jogging, walking, cycling and roller blading along the beach to Puerto Banus, just 15 minutes away.
Puerto Banús
One of Europe´s most famous marinas, Puerto Banús is a playground for the international jet set, with fabulous restaurants and chic designer boutiques. Here are moored some of the the biggest and most expensive luxury yachts in the world. It is certainly a place to be seen and you may find yourself rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous!
Nueva Andalucía
Otherwise known as the Golf Valley, with five 18 hole golf courses in the area. An attractive area, located minutes from the famous Puerto Banús, Nueva Andalucía offers a wide variety of homes, from apartments to the finest villas. With many services and facilities in the area, tennis clubs, shops, restaurants and bars, there is something for everyone.
Marbella
A cosmpolitan town, with beautiful beaches and a wonderful promenade stretching along the Golden Mile to Puerto Banus. The old town of Marbella is typical of Andalucía with its winding cobbled streets. The "Plaza de los Naranjos" (Orange Square), is lined with exotic plants, boutiques, idyllic cafés and is the hub of activity both day and night.
Elviria
With its fine sandy beaches and beautiful sand dunes, Elviria offers a safe family resort, well equipped with amenities and services. Activities include golf courses, water sports, a tennis club, restaurants and bars.
Calahonda
Calahonda is a few minutes drive from the quaint port of Cabopino and a 10 minute drive from Marbella. Both areas offer comprehensive facilities with shopping centres, supermarkets, restaurants and bars.
Fuengirola
Only 21 kilometres from Malaga airport, Fuengirola is a town well suited for all ages, always lively with lots of activities including an aqua park, zoo, lots of restaurants, bars and great nightlife. The five mile stretch of golden sandy beach is overlooked by one of the longest promenades in the Mediterranean, taking around two hours to meander from one end to the other.
Benalmadena
Another town full of activities for families. There is a beautiful marina, Sea Life Centre, Selwo Sealife Park, cable car ride to the top of the mountain, wonderful beaches, Tivoli World theme park, casino, shops and some excellent restaurants. It is divided up into three distinct parts, Benalmadena Costa, Benalmadena Pueblo and Arroyo de la Miel
Mijas
This village is one of the most famous Andalucian "white villages" on the coast, with its narrow cobbled streets and fantastic views over the coast. Mijas has the country´s only square bullring and some interesting historic monuments. Just down the road is Mijas Golf, offering two 18 hole golf courses, the famous Byblos Hotel and the Lew Hoad Tennis Club
